Curious about screenprinting but not ready to jump into photo emulsion? This hands-on workshop is a fun and approachable way to learn using adhesive vinyl (contact paper) to create bold, graphic stencil designs.
Before class, you’ll send us your image so it can be digitally prepared and die-cut from vinyl. During the session, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the full process.
You’ll learn how to:
• Weed your vinyl stencil (removing the negative areas)
• Adhere the vinyl to a screen to create your stencil
• Set up the screen for printing
• Hand-pull your own screenprints
Each participant will have a maximum design size of 12 × 12 inches and will print using one ink color.
✨ And you’ll keep your screen at the end of class — so you can continue printing at home.
What You’ll Make
• An edition of 6 professionally printed artworks (12 × 12 inches)
• A print on your choice of shirt.
• You may also bring one item of clothing to print during class
You’ll leave with finished prints, a reusable screen, and a wearable or home item featuring your design ✨
