Jack Schabert presents his new music just a few days after he returns from his week as Composer-In-Residence at the Listening Point Foundation in Ely, Minnesota. The work is based on Minnesota author and environmentalist Sigurd Olson’s book,Listening Point. Jack is staying at Sigurd Olson’s home in Ely, and for 8 days he’s writing music at Sigurd’s historic cabin on the edge of the boundary waters.
