A native Montrealer, Marc Bellemare fell in love with jazz in his teens because of his hometown’s international jazz festival. But life got in the way, and it was not until his mid-40s that Marc began learning how to play jazz on his instrument. For his début as a bandleader, he is joined onstage by Brandon Mickelsen (drums), Marlo Williams (bass), and Mike Young (sax).
