We want to welcome you to the North Jazz Workshops Winter Concert series. North Star Jazz Workshops is an adult centered jazz combo and improvisation organization. North Star teaches adults how to improvise in the tradition and style of the great jazz masters who have come before us. Our groups are made up of many different levels of players from beginning to advanced. Each group focuses on repertoire and information that is appropriate to their skill level. Every few months we are presenting our groups in a concert setting to help these musicians grow and push themselves to higher levels of musicianship. These concerts are presented free of charge. So come on down to Fingal’s Cave and enjoy the community and musical camaraderie of North Star Jazz Workshops.
