Thomas Gott:
Thomas Gott is a jazz drummer and percussionist from Woodbury Minnesota. He has studied with local Twin Cities artists such as LA Buckner, JT Bates, and Eric Schee. He has played with the University of Minnesota Honor Band and MacPhail First Ave Ensemble in addition to playing shows at local venues like the MetroNOME.
Mathew Hess:
Matthew Hess, 17, is a saxophonist from Minneapolis, MN. He performs with various groups across the Twin Cities including Minnesota Youth Jazz Bands, Walker West Music Academy, and MacPhail Center for Music. He has performed at various venues across the Twin Cities.
Xavier Johnson Ryan:
Xavier Johnson Ryan is a jazz pianist native to Saint Paul—where he grew up surrounded by the jazz tradition at Walker West Music Academy. While playing in Walker West’s top jazz ensemble he has studied extensively with Twin Cities jazz greats Kavyesh Kaviraj, Kevin Washington, Ted Olsen, Jack Breen, and Solomon Parham and played with Joe Lovano, Kyle Poole, Yasushi Nakamura, and the Four Freshman. Outside of Walker West he has made a name for himself gigging with the Will Aldrich Quartet, Callum Schultz Quartet, and Half Past Midnight at venues such as KJ’s Hideaway, the Green Room, the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, and Berlin Jazz Club.
Callum Shultz:
Callum Schultz is a 17 year old bassist who has performed alongside saxophone greats Joe Lovano, Kenni Holmen, and JD Allen, and has played at numerous Twin Cities venues such as The Dakota, the Landmark Center, the Governor’s Residence, The Green Room, and Berlin Jazz Club.
