What are you doing this rainy day! Check out Bob Frey & the Adaptors TONIGHT at 7:30 pm! Americana / Folk musician Bob Frey hails from Cleveland, OH but is based inMinneapolis. Since 1993, Frey has shared his stories and songs with a loyal band of supporters at small clubs throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. Frey’s beautifully melodic songs offer a rare and compelling lyrical depth and wit – think John Prine, Ian Noe, Joe Purdy- in a voice reminiscent of Cat Stevens / Ben Harper. His band, the Adaptors, consists of some of the Cities finest musicians, including Rachel Calvert (violin), Marc Conklin (guitar) and Corey Hess (percussion). TONIGHT! “Transition Moments” – the Calvin Caron Group! Calvin Caron is a Bassist and Composer working out of the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Calvin has performed as a sideman with a variety of musicians who are staples of the Twin Cities jazz scene. Calvin has a respect for the tradition of jazz while simultaneously looking forward musically, he has a voice in composition where he attempts to keep the music honest.
