The concert will feature world premieres by Jeremi Edwards, Amy Ian Hardemon, César Ortiz, Ian Lester, David Roche, Ali Balighi, Dalton Regnier, and Eddie Jonathan Garcia Borbón. Each composer brings a unique artistic voice to the program, offering audiences a spectrum of perspectives that stretch the possibilities of contemporary chamber music.

The Beltline Bones consists of tenor trombonists Cole Bartels, Justin Coyne, Zach Bethel, and bass trombonist Adam Nissenbaum. Together, they bring an expansive range of color, dynamic energy, and technical precision to every performance.

The MN Hard Bop Collective MetroNOME Jazz Performance Workshop Resumes in 2026 on Monday January 5th at 7pm!

We’ll dig into how to master the swing feel; why EVERYONE is a "timekeeper"; and even how to handle stage fright and re-channel your "butterflies" into an exhilarating performance. We will also explore our "tricks of the trade" on how to turn standards into amazing "on-the-fly" arrangements. Regular attendees will have chances to perform at MetroNOME, Jazz88, and the Twin Cities Jazz Fest.

$10 donations are welcome!
