Last night! The first "Monday Band" performance by "MFB Night Crew" was a great example of what we were hoping to achieve with this initiative: - A newly formed group in our community got to play and test their skills - They were provided professional sound and lights - They brought in friends and family - It was a great time If you are a local, regional , high school, college or artist looking for a place to play please email info@metronomebrewery.com. We have a number of candidates and are putting together our schedule for the next 3 months. All apps will be considered. Thanks!

What are you doing on this sweaty night! The MetroNOME is delighted to present our first "MONDAY BAND" performance! And it's a timely one: MFB Night Crew – A Special PRIDE Show! 7:00 pm. The MFB Night Crew is a new-ly formed group with the purpose of offering it’s individuals an opportunity to explore the world of jazz improvisation. The group draws its members from two larger groups, The Minnesota Freedom Band and the Minnesota Freedom Jazz bands, both long -time GLBT+ friends bands. The creation of this smaller group was made possible by a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council along with legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Coming from different walks of life, and many new to the world of jazz, the members share the common interest to explore and grow. NO TICKETS needed, but please come by and support them this evening! #mondaysatmetronome
